Almost all of the famous and high-achieving Jews of the past 200 years have been Ashkenazi. All of Israel’s prime ministers have been Ashkenazi. Jewish Nobel prize winners are almost always Ashkenazi. <\/p>\n
Ashkenazi Jews hail from Germany and they tend to be pale, often more pale than the average European. Sephardi Jews hail from Spain and often lived in the Middle East for generations. They tend to a darker skin color than whites and they often look more like Arabs (and behave more like Arabs) than like Ashkenazi Jews. Sephardic Jews have a higher crime rate than Ashkenazi Jews and they have higher rates of addiction and other forms of dysfunction. The difference between Sephardim and Ashkenazim is not as large as the difference between black and white, but it is about 50% as large. <\/p>\n
