I suffer from this flaw and I think this explanation from Dr. Drew Pinsky is right on. <\/p>\n

Dennis complained that when he first was on radio in the 1980s, celebrities would invite him over to their homes and all but one could only talk about himself, so Dennis stopped going.<\/p>\n

Dr. Drew: “People who do achieve fame usually are smart and substantial. They’re interesting. As a person, they have the deep emptiness. When it is a painful source of longing, when you are in pain, it’s hard not to focus on you and your pain.
