By contrast, much of the burgeoning neoconservative movement pushed for a racially blind approach. <\/p>\n<p>On pg. 165 of his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/James-J-Kilpatrick-Salesman-Segregation\/dp\/146960213X\">book<\/a> on James J. Kilpatrick, William P. Hustwit wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The northern newconservative journalist Irving Kristol<br \/>\ncautioned William F.
