I was 19.<\/p>\n<p>I will not end up like <A HREF=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Michael_Hutchence\">Michael Hutchence<\/a> because:<\/p>\n<p>* I don&#8217;t drink or drug or hang out with those who do.<br \/>\n* I belong to an organized religion.<br \/>\n* I believe in God.<br \/>\n* I go to therapy every week.<br \/>\n* I write in my journal every day.<br \/>\n* I go to 12-step groups.<br \/>\n* I practice the principles of the Alexander Technique.<br \/>\n* For all the darkness I allow into my life, I always insist on pursuing some transcendence every day and never allow the scales to tilt towards destruction.<br \/>\n* Every day, I choose life. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m feeling emotional about watching the Australian movie about INXS &#8212; Never Tear Us Apart.
