The Jewish family after dinner would scream at each other and then the kids would settle down to do homework.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8KD6i5TkjSs\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Fifty two of the leading thinkers on intelligence published this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lukeford.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/1994WSJ.pdf\">Dec. 13, 1994 Wall Street Journal Op\/Ed<\/a> in support of <A HREF=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Bell_Curve\"><em>The Bell Curve<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been spending close to 20 hours a week the past four months (since I started taking modafinil) studying the writings of <A HREF=\"http:\/\/isteve.blogspot.com\/\">Steve Sailer<\/a>.  I admire how he never gets angry and personally offended. He&#8217;s just amused. That&#8217;s a good model for somebody who engages in debate. He also doesn&#8217;t care how people are always ripping off his ideas. He doesn&#8217;t waste his time demanding or whining for credit. He&#8217;s just glad the truth gets out there, even if it doesn&#8217;t have his name on it. How many intellectuals are like that? Charles Murray is also an excellent role model. <\/p>\n<p>According to Myers-Briggs, Sailer is a classic INTJ (as am I).<\/p>\n<p>* <A HREF=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Female_Brain_(book)\"><em>The Female Brain<\/em><\/a> depresses me because it is so obvious that women lose interest in their husbands after they have a kid. The oxytocin gets released by cuddling with their baby and most other thoughts go out the window.  Men only lose interest in sex with the Mrs if the wife cuts him down or packs on weight.<\/p>\n<p>* I&#8217;ve been so righteous, I should be honored by an Aish HaTorah banquet, because I haven&#8217;t been with any shiksas in more than five years and they&#8217;re all around me. I&#8217;m drowning in them but I don&#8217;t have even a drop to drink. I should be lecturing at yeshivas.<\/p>\n<p>* When a man says, &#8220;She&#8217;s attractive&#8221; it means he wants to impale her. It&#8217;s not an aesthetic statement, it&#8217;s not lovey dovey, it&#8217;s not his F***-colored glasses, it&#8217;s the way God made him.<\/p>\n<p>* Anyone who takes Freakanomics and economist Steven Levitt <A HREF=\"http:\/\/isteve.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/steven-d-levitts-personal-character.html\">seriously<\/a> is as foolish as anyone who gives credence to Malcolm Gladwell.<\/p>\n<p>* <A HREF=\"http:\/\/isteve.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/graduate-record-exam-scores-by-graduate.html\">Highest test scores\/IQ by field in graduate school study<\/a> in descending order: Physics &#038; astronomy, Philosophy, Mathematical Sciences, Materials Engineering, Economics, Chemical Engineering, Other Engineering<\/p>\n<p>Lowest test scores\/IQs by field in graduate school study in descending order: Public Administration, Other Education, Elementary, Administration, Home Economics, Special Ed, Student Counseling, Early Childhood and Social Work (dumbest).<\/p>\n<p>* The higher a person&#8217;s social status, the more slowly he speaks. The poor talk rapidly because they don&#8217;t expect anyone to listen to them for long. (<A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.isteve.com\/Film_The_Queen.htm\">Michael Caine<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>* 43% of black law school graduates <A HREF=\"http:\/\/isteve.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/law-school-affirmative-action-gail.html\">never pass the bar according to this new book<\/a>.
