My two cents:<br \/>\n* An awkward, ugly job was done by the interviewer, but it wasn&#8217;t horrible, let alone the most embarrassing thing the network has done.<br \/>\n* Reza is <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/blogs\/firstthoughts\/2013\/07\/29\/scholarly-misrepresentation\/\">not a historian<\/a>, has never unearthed original historical documents nor broken ground in the field of history, so it is bogus for him to claim to be a historian.<br \/>\n* One does not need to be a historian to write about history, I did a historical book, but you shouldn&#8217;t claim credentials you don&#8217;t have, which is exactly what Reza Aslan does in this interview.<br \/>\n* Reza was given abundant time to answer the questions, far more time than is generally given to guests on TV (this wasn&#8217;t TV, it was for the web).<br \/>\n* Reza knew what he was getting into. FoxNews.com had published a critical piece on the MSM&#8217;s lavish praise for the book that was linked by the Drudge Report.
