On his radio show today, Dennis Prager said: “Parents should not rely on their children to make them happy.”<\/p>\n

“Do you want your parents to rely on you for their happiness? Isn’t it liberating to know that they have their own independently happy lives?”<\/p>\n

“People think children are the greatest vehicle to happiness. It’s not true. Children may be the greatest vehicle to unhappiness. I wish I had six kids. It did not work out that way.”<\/p>\n
