I was looking at the Geffen School of Medicine faculty list<\/a> and about half of the minority faculty members (and about 5-10% of the others) are dedicating their professional lives to “reduce disparities” in health outcomes.<\/p>\n

Why not devote yourself to excellence in healthcare? You’ve could give everyone in America the same crappy healthcare that Cubans get and you would “reduce disparities”, but you’d have lousy care. Does that matter?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
