I think kids were just firing into the air to celebrate the new year.<\/p>\n<p>So I expected this Shabbat there would be a major police presence in the community. I heard the police were pursuing these <A HREF=\"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=39289\">mugging cases<\/a> and there was political pressure on the police to do something.
