I hear: The rabbi at Beth Jacob of Beverly Hills did very well.
\nSkillfully navigated difficult terrain.
\nTook the wind out of the sails of the pro-Chazzan group using Rabbinic license \u2013 Halacha and precedent.
\nPointed out that we are a united shul and will stay that way.
