I’ve never found the Jewish Journal an erotic publication. Yes, I’ve had my share of fantasies about religion writer Amy Klein<\/a> (who hasn’t?) but the paper, baruch hashem, has never caused me to commit the sin of Onan.<\/p>\n

But the times are a changing. The Jewish Journal now boasts Calendar Girls<\/a> – a pair of hotties (Dikla Kadosh<\/a> and Danielle Berrin<\/a>) who go to the events on the Jewish Journal calendar so you don’t have to.<\/p>\n

I was sorely tempted to take precious time from my earnest David Klinghoffer profile to wax lyrical in praise of these fresh bloggers, but thank the Lord they’ve already waxed lyrical about themselves.<\/p>\n

Danielle, who has the soul of a poet and the body of an actress, writes<\/a>: "I ventured across the country because Hollywood is where dreams come true, and although my passions are filmmaking and performing, I find myself enjoying the pursuit of journalism."<\/p>\n

Dikla, insert something witty here, writes<\/a>: "I am deeply connected to my faith, as the palm tree, symbolizing peace and plenty, is deeply rooted in Judaism. I am a nurturer and intuitively provide comfort and aid to friends, family and strangers, as the palm tree has provided shade, sustenance and protection from the harsh desert winds for centuries. I am flexible and willing to bend with the changing winds, but it takes one hell of a storm to break me. And like the majestic palm tree that lines the streets of Beverly Hills, I like to stand tall and stand out, be a leader, but a gentle one."<\/p>\n
