The latest, in Woodland Hills at 5780 Canoga Ave. (818-710-0400), is simply unbelievable — and busy! The decor, from the ample use of glass to the comfortable booths and strategically positioned tables to the restaurant’s intuitive layout, makes The Stand a, expression very much intended, stand-out! A winner. The menu is excellent and extensive, with offerings for people of all tastes. An additional comment about the service, at the Woodland Hills site and all other locations: it’s extremely professional. In creating this restaurant, the founders clearly established a niche for themselves, an opportunity to build an iconic destination that also prides itself on the vigor of its staff. Call it comfort food in a comfortable setting. I truly salute The Stand on its deserved success and popularity throughout Los Angeles.
