Celebrity news\u00a0website TMZ.com is running a story which, if true, could\u00a0put\u00a0Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) political career to bed for awhile.<\/p>\n

In an article headlined “Weiner Told Porn Star to Lie, Offered PR Help<\/a>,”\u00a0TMZ says “Weiner and former porn star Ginger Lee\u00a0exchanged scores of sexual emails\u00a0over a long period of time.\u00a0When the underwear scandal broke on May 28, Lee began receiving calls from the media, and Weiner was more than happy to\u00a0help her control the situation … by lying.”<\/p>\n

The article says Weiner told Lee\u00a0in a June 2\u00a0email that he “can have someone\u00a0on my team call” to give her professional PR advice.<\/p>\n

“It’s\u00a0unclear if Weiner’s PR team is from his Congressional staff,” the site added, noting “If so,\u00a0Weiner could run afoul of House Ethics Rules as well as the law.”<\/p>\n

TMZ\u00a0says Weiner urged\u00a0Lee “to lie about their relationship” and sent her “a proposed statement she could give\u00a0to the press.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
