I have a part-time job picking up kids from daycare and bringing them home to their loving parents.<\/p>\n
Because I believe that our every minute is a gift from HaShem, I always carry a book wherever I go. So through all the childish foolishness I’m continually improving my mind and setting a good example for the next generation.<\/p>\n
The other day I was reading The Rules of the Game by Neil Strauss.<\/p>\n
I have no personal use for pick-up books. I simply find the subject intellectually stimulating.<\/p>\n

To make a long story short, the other day I left behind my book in the car I use to pick up the kids.<\/p>\n
When I picked it up again the next day, I thought nothing of what I had done…until I saw the boys (aged four to ten) implementing the techniques on the playground. They were opening with indirect questions, running multiple conversation streams, establishing hooks, demonstrating high value and social proof, using artificial time constraints, being aloof and setting the bait, attracting and bantering, qualifying and rewarding, eliciting rapport and number-closing.<\/p>\n
