Besser<\/a>, I want to grind my teeth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jewishjournal.com\/home\/preview.php?id=17742\">He writes in the Jewish Journal this week<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Should candidates for the White House have to pass a religious test? The Constitution says no, but increasingly American political culture says otherwise. <\/p>\n<p>The excessive focus on religion is already evident in the early days of the 2008 presidential race. That&#8217;s bad news for the Jews who, for all the talk of Judeo-Christian values, don&#8217;t meet the religious benchmarks of those who have set themselves up as the political judges of a nation they still insist is a Christian one.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Elsewhere in the paper, I find this headline: &quot;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jewishjournal.com\/home\/preview.php?id=17730\">Startling surprises in New &#8217;67 War Documentary<\/a>.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Intrigued, I read Tom Tugend&#8217;s story. In the fifth paragraph, he writes: &quot;In fact, there are few startling surprises for anyone who has read any of the numerous post-mortems of the war.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>I figured they must&#8217;ve fixed this goofed headline online but no. It reads, &quot;History surprises in new &#8217;67 War documentary&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><!--adsense--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every time I read James D.
