His writing and producing credits include The Simpsons<\/a><\/em> (for which he won a Emmy<\/a> for the season six episode Fear of Flying<\/a><\/em>), 3rd Rock From the Sun<\/a><\/em> (for which he won a Golden Globe<\/a>), Malcolm in the Middle<\/a><\/em>, The Tick<\/a><\/em> and Murphy Brown<\/a><\/em>. The only Simpsons episode Sacks has written is the season six episode Fear of Flying<\/a>.<\/p>\n Born and raised in New York City, David Sacks attended Harvard College<\/a>, graduating with a degree in Government in 1984. While there he began his comedy writing career as an editor of the school’s humor magazine, The Harvard Lampoon<\/a>.
