{"id":29548,"date":"2011-01-31T18:29:09","date_gmt":"2011-02-01T02:29:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=29548"},"modified":"2011-02-04T08:57:04","modified_gmt":"2011-02-04T16:57:04","slug":"more-unhappy-tenants-at-aqua-complex-marina-del-rey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=29548","title":{"rendered":"More Unhappy Tenants At Aqua Complex, Marina Del Rey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.refinancemortgagenow.net\/blog\/2010\/09\/15\/another-blow-to-real-estate-developer-lawrence-gluck\/\">Here are<\/a> my previous <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.refinancemortgagenow.net\/blog\/2010\/12\/22\/the-fall-of-laurence-gluck-ii\/\">reports on this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.refinancemortgagenow.net\/blog\/\/2010\/09\/15\/another-blow-to-real-estate-developer-lawrence-gluck\/\">I wrote a few months ago about the fall of real estate developer Laurence Gluck<\/a> and the unhappy residents of the AQUA apartment complex at 4750 Lincoln Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua was formerly Marina Terrace &#038; Archstone &#038; Fiji Villas &#038; Chateau Marina.<\/p>\n<p>Aqua is managed and owned by <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.breproperties.com\">BRE Properties.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An unhappy tenant emails me: &#8220;There have been 4-5 break-ins to units and cars just over the last 2 weeks and BRE will not increase Security.  One tenant had his remote stolen during the theft and BRE wanted to charge him $50 to replace it.  When he got upset he was then brought into the office and lectured by our very unpleasant<br \/>\nAssistant Manager on how to treat people.  Two other tenants&#8230;just last week&#8230;had their personal belongings stolen off their first floor<br \/>\nbalconies.  And a crowbar was used to break in to a unit on Monday. I have seen a student crying because of how she was treated and an elderly man being completely ignored and blown off. <A
