What can I say? He                      helped turn me from a Seventh-day Adventist into a Roman Catholic.                      \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I read everything he wrote (I even read Gill&#8217;s booklet,                        &quot;The Soteriological Implications of the Human Nature of                        Christ&quot; [<a href=\"http:\/\/gillianford.com\/\">Gillian Ford<\/a>                        is Luke&#8217;s stepmother, whom Des married after Luke&#8217;s mom                        died of cancer&#8211;see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lukeford.net\/luke_ford\/bio\/l1.html\">Luke&#8217;s                        autobiography<\/a>]).
