As such, she has a need to attend as many chassidus shiurim as possible on a daily basis. I&#8217;ve attended a few with her, and for me the real inspiration was not from the lecture, but rather from seeing my mother&#8217;s reactions. She takes every word the rabbi or speaker says literally and I can see her face light up as though she&#8217;s hearing something for the first time in every shiur.<\/p>\n<p>One speaker used a phrase- I forget which one- and he said it was regarding people who their entire lives revolve around torah, people who have no <em>negiah<\/em> to this world other than torah. My mother asked him if kollel boys were included in this concept. &quot;No, I&#8217;m talking about people who don&#8217;t even do any errands around the house, they&#8217;re totally immersed in torah,&quot; was his response.<\/p>\n<p>My mother was visibly moved. &quot;Wooow,&quot; she said with great enthusiasm.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!--adsense--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eva writes: My mother is an extremely spiritual person.
