This appears to be a case where Republicans are more amenable to stricter regulation than Democrats<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

In political terms, Democrats are GSE supporters<\/a>, Republicans are GSE<\/a> skeptics<\/a>. (Departed former CEO<\/a> Franklin Raines<\/a> was President Clinton’s OMB Director<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
