\nFrank: there is a certain understanding of the jewish hierarchy that u dont fully realize unless u are born and trained into it at a young age
\nFrank: even the really modern dont truely get it
\nFrank: it is difficult to explain
\nFrank: it is like a shoe, it needs to fit just right
\nFrank: sometimes they dont just fit right
\nYourMoralLeader: what about that tall rabbi at aish who’s a convert?
\nYourMoralLeader: yaakov deyo?
\nFrank: they feel fine and wont give u blisters, but u wouldnt feel comfortable walking a long distance in them

\nFrank: as far as i know the israeli rabbinate doesnt
\nFrank: i probably would have to ask a shaila to my rav
\nFrank: u know of the beis din list?
\nFrank: there was a list that the rabbinate put out of kosher gior beis dins
\nFrank: i would assume his was not on the list
\nFrank: this was about a year ago
\nFrank: if it is not good enough for a bs organization like the israeli rabbinate, it most likely wouldnt be good enough for me
