A soldier on a lonely outpost in Afghanistan who enjoys rough-housing with his fellow soldiers is asked in Sebastian Junger’s new book War<\/em><\/a> if he would really have sex with another male soldier.<\/p>\n

“Sure,” he says, “it would be gay not to.”<\/p>\n

That’s the funniest thing I’ve read in a while. The soldier’s point was that he was so hyper-sexual, that on the this lonely outpost, it would be wimpy to turn down an opportunity to have sex.<\/p>\n
