Dennis interviews Philippe Karsenty, vice mayor of the city of Neuilly, France and documentary film-maker. <\/p>\n
Karsenty says: “France was a communist country that used to work. Now it is a communist country that doesn’t work any more.”<\/p>\n
According to a poll, most French youth want to work for the government bureaucracy.<\/p>\n
“When people in the USSR used to watch the news on TV, they knew it was lies. When people in France watch the news, they think it is real news. That’s insane. The devastating effect on the people is that you are brainwashing them.”<\/p>\n
Dennis: “If there were an equivalent in France to talk radio in America, promoting conservative entrepreneurial private enterprise liberty values?”<\/p>\n
Karsenty: “We can not translate these words in French. One hundred percent of the French media is owned or controlled by the state. All the French newspapers receive subsidies from the state. There is no Dennis Prager in France.”<\/p>\n
Dennis: “The greatest unknown story in our lifetime is the lack of diversity in the media in the Western world.”<\/p>\n
Karsenty: “The minute I land in America, I just feel the freedom. I feel like everything is possible. The second I land in Paris, I feel that everything is small and state controlled and you better not say the wrong thing.”<\/p>\n
Dennis: “[In Europe] I don’t breathe as freely.”<\/p>\n
Karsenty: “There’s something on your shoulders.”<\/p>\n
