One time I’m on the plane and I pull out a Tanach (Bible) and start studying it. It’s an LA – Vegas flight where Biblical studies are not the usual reading material.<\/p>\n
I notice the guy next to me keeps staring. He’s not thrilled.<\/p>\n
Finally, I said, I see you keep looking over. Why?<\/p>\n
It turns out the guy is an Israeli who’s visiting the U.S. and all he wants to do is to have fun. The last thing he has on his mind on a flight to Vegas is the Torah. He thought, I can’t get away from this. Twelve thousand miles from home and a guy pulls out on a flight a Torah.<\/p>\n
