There’s a ton of talk about racism but in America it usually comes down to relations between blacks and other groups. It’s my perception that tens of millions of Americans — be they white or brown or yellow — don’t like black people (and most of these dislikers vote Republican, to quote John Derbyshire). I don’t think that most of these racists do anything significant to harm blacks but they associate blacks with violent crime and try to stay far away.<\/p>\n
