What&#8217;s the point? To change G-d&#8217;s mind? To change us? If the latter, then Torah study is far more effective.<\/p>\n<p>I believe the true purpose of prayer is to force Jews to gather three times a day, even with people they can&#8217;t stand, and this is conducive to smart business deals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jewishjournal.com\/home\/preview.php?id=18893\">Wolfson<\/a>&nbsp; writes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lior Liebling davens everywhere: in the backyard, in school and on the swing set.
