The piece relies heavily on anonymous sources which is slimy because you don’t know your accusers and without their name attached to the accusation they can speak without regard to truth or accuracy. <\/p>\nThe New York Times has strict standards for anonymous sources. Basically there must be a compelling reason, such as the person is divulging information without authorization. They would never publish a story like this with its anonymous sniping. <\/p>\n
The anonymous sources are all the more ironic because the piece accuses you of being a gossip monger however by quoting anonymous critics the article traffics in crude gossip.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
