The first monthly – ALL FREE – Downtown Comedy Walk<\/a> just announced a stellar line up of 30 comedy acts running from 8 PM – 9:30 PM as part of the Downtown Art Walk. Visit over 30 art galleries from noon to 9 PM – and then enjoy 30 different comic experiences at SIX different venues – all free – this Thursday January 10th, 2008.<\/p>\n

Also available will be restaurants, bars, live music, stores and an indy bookstore. And you will get a rare chance to see the historic Tiffancy-designed Palm Court Ballroom (home of the Downtown Comedy Club) at the Alexandria, the inside of the historic 1910 Palace Theatre and the historic lobby of new LATC – again – all for free!<\/p>\n

What’s the LATC? Los Angeles Theatre Center – four publicly owned theaters on Spring Street across from Alexandria and one block from Palace Theatre. Lobby is huge old bank lobby with massive three story stained glass ceiling. Almost as nice as Palm Court Ballroom in Alexandria. All are Pre- WW I buildings and Wyatt Earp used to run a faro game in one of them.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
