The liberal Jewish press has been running sensationalist &#8220;horror story&#8221; slop about the Hasids etc. for decades. Remember the Orthodox Jewish woman who was a cause celebre because her husband refused to grant her a religious divorce? No, you don&#8217;t, because you didn&#8217;t pay any attention to Jews until October 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Orthodox Jews also bloc vote for Republicans. Rockland County flipped from a blue-leaning swing county to a strongly red county because of Orthodox Jews. Orange County similarly avoided a blue wave in local elections last year because the Hasids got their asses into the voting booths.<\/p>\n<p>Do these communities cause problems? Of course they do. But you know who causes WAY bigger problems? Indians. Muslims. Hondurans. Haitians. But I&#8217;m not holding my breath for an expose on the Haitians of Spring Valley because whoever is foolish enough to try that will end up going home in a stretcher. Keep picking on people who won&#8217;t physically assault you and who are already hated by the left. You&#8217;re a real hero, man.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><A HREF=\"https:\/\/x.com\/realmikolson\/status\/2027054812068503826\">Mikale Olson posts<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Some thoughts on the Tyler Oliveira \u201cJewish Invasion\u201d video:<\/p>\n<p>1. I watched the video. The whole thing. What it \u201cexposes\u201d is Jews in New Jersey on welfare. Now, you can make the case that welfare is bad, abused, unethical, or whatever else. That\u2019s all well and good, and to a large degree I agree. I know people personally who have nearly a dozen kids and are on welfare without full-time work, living off state benefits. It\u2019s not good for anyone to do that, especially if you\u2019re an able-bodied man with a family. You have a responsibility to work, provide, and not depend on the government to pay your bills. I think most Americans, aside from those directly benefiting from that system, would agree.<\/p>\n<p>But to then claim they\u2019re committing a crime is unfounded. Yes, welfare has serious problems. But as it stands, it\u2019s not illegal. It\u2019s also not illegal to live among people within your same ethnic or religious community, own businesses together, share property, and so on. Almost every community in the U.S. does this to one degree or another. Again, not immoral. Not nefarious. Not a crime. It\u2019s simply how subcultures function.<\/p>\n<p>2. This isn\u2019t a \u201cJewish\u201d phenomenon. There are plenty of other communities that rely on welfare at far higher rates than this particular Jewish community in New Jersey. We all know that. In fact, Jews are among the highest earners per capita in the nation, and the vast majority are not on food stamps. So to highlight this anecdote, as Tyler did, and then build a broader narrative claiming Jews are robbing Americans blind through food stamps at large is simply false.<\/p>\n<p>3. That\u2019s really the issue. This video is a classic example of \u201cfind me the man and I\u2019ll find you the crime.\u201d There\u2019s already a popular narrative claiming Jews control the United States, and even the world, in some nefarious way, and that every societal ill traces back to \u201cthe Jews.\u201d Nick Shirley\u2019s Somali fraud video showcased actual, documented fraud. Now certain anti-Jewish factions within our political sphere are attempting to draw the same conclusions about Jews. It\u2019s dishonest from start to finish, especially when you label them \u201cinvaders,\u201d as the video title does. That\u2019s particularly strange considering there are fewer Jews per capita in New Jersey today than there were in the late 1800s. It\u2019s hard to call that an invasion.<\/p>\n<p>The title alone reveals the intent behind this kind of \u201cjournalism\u201d: make Jews look bad, and search for anything that can be used to do so. Anything at all. The objective isn\u2019t truth. It\u2019s narrative construction. And it\u2019s a narrative that draws a crowd, clicks, fame online, and political status amongst younger voters and viewers. It\u2019s a grift.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Lakewood functions as a high-density, politically potent &#8220;sovereign engine&#8221; that often clashes with the surrounding secular and liberal Jewish &#8220;civil spheres.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There is significant welfare use in Lakewood, but it does not follow the typical American demographic profile. Data indicates that Lakewood has one of the highest concentrations of public-assistance recipients in New Jersey, particularly for child healthcare and food stamps (SNAP). In 2024 and 2025, approximately 50% of the township&#8217;s children received some form of government benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Lakewood paradox&#8221; is that it leads the state in benefits for two-parent, married households. Because the alliance reproduction machine prioritizes full-time Torah study (Kollel) over secular careers, many families have high social and spiritual capital but very low reported income. This creates a &#8220;scholar-elite&#8221; that is technically below the poverty line.
