After making some <a href=\"http:\/\/soupcans.blogspot.com\/2007\/12\/adrienne-bankert-i-have-never-met-poor.html\">controversial comments<\/a> about the Jewish community at a lightly attended <a href=\"http:\/\/soupcans.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/and-thats-way-it-is_29.html\">speaking engagement<\/a> last month, Bankert has made nice with the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region and hopefully, the Jewish community at large. She <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/101\/story\/567314.html\">met with the organization<\/a> and they&#8217;ve decided she didn&#8217;t really mean anything by statements like &quot;I have never met a poor Jewish person ever in my life.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Said Michal Kohane, the organization&#8217;s head: <\/p>\n<p>&quot;She didn&#8217;t get up and say, &#8216;The Jews are rich, therefore it&#8217;s bad. Let&#8217;s take all their money,&#8217;&quot; Kohane said. &quot;Her theology is, if God loves you, you&#8217;ll be successful, and here&#8217;s an example of people who are successful. She saw it as a good thing.
