It takes ten men to make a <A HREF=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Minyan\">minyan<\/a>. A woman can not be counted for a minyan. Almost all <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.jofa.org\/social.php\/ritual\/dailypractic\/timeboundcom\">time-bound ritual commandments<\/a> are binding upon men and not upon women. <\/p>\n<p>How can a woman, who is not commanded, take a position of religious leadership over men, who are commanded to follow these commandments?<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.jewishjournal.com\/morethodoxy\/item\/controversial_sure_post-orthodox_cmon_39100202\/\">Rabbi Yosef Kanefsky posts<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nThe recent change in title conferred upon my Morethodoxy colleague Sara Hurwitz has naturally generated a lot of intense reaction.
