I was wondering where a friend was. I was told, “This sounds horrible, but her father is finally dying.”<\/p>\n

I guess the old codger had been in poor health for years but he kept hanging on.<\/p>\n

Now it appears he’s ready to kick the bucket.<\/p>\n
