Extending unemployment benefits? Doesn&#8217;t help me. I&#8217;ve worked for myself the past 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want a bailout. I&#8217;m just sick of people lining up at the government trough to get some.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t work for the government. <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/printedition\/news\/20091211\/1afedpay11_st.art.htm?loc=interstitialskip\">I don&#8217;t get to average the $71,000 a year that federal employees get<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve not found government employees to be happy people. It seems to be work that generally sucks the soul.<\/p>\n<p>I pay for my own health insurance &#8212; $340 a month to Kaiser. Then I go outside of Kaiser to get superb physical therapy at $200 a session and I get acupuncture ($35 a session from interns, the herbs cost about $40 extra a week).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m tired of all these government bailouts of other people.
