A close reading of Limbaugh\u2019s public statements reveals that Limbaugh employed the strategies of evading responsibility, reducing offensiveness, and mortification (i.e., apologizing). However, Limbaugh\u2019s apology was more of a pseudo-apology than a genuine apology.
