I’m moving in a new direction.<\/p>\n

My Advisory Committee is not pleased. Khunrum emails: “Luke….It must have occurred to you that if anyone gave two s**ts what Dennis Prager was saying or thinking …or even the state of his bad back, they’d go directly to the source? Must you constantly update your readers on the “thoughts of chairman Prager”…Oy!”<\/p>\n

“Luke it appears that you are using “Just For Men” on your beard and dome again. I must be honest, the only thing more tedious than reading your “soft core porn” remembrances is listening to you read them<\/a>. OY! How did you keep the audience from nodding off?”<\/p>\n

It’s not “Just For Men” on my beard. My hair is darkening for natural reasons. I think it is the addition of green leafy vegetables to my every meal.<\/p>\n

I feel like yoga, Alexander Technique, therapy, Torah, love, etc have made me more genuine, more vulnerable, and less cynical.<\/p>\n

I remember taking some friends to yoga and afterwards they were unchanged. For me, yoga is sacred space. I open up my heart. I reduce my cynicism. I try not to strike poses. Some of my friends, however, kept talking in their normal way after class. I felt like I had changed because I was jarred by them, by their cynicism. It’s been a long time since I was jarred by someone else’s cynicism.<\/p>\n

Khunrum emails: “Sandra Tsing Loh… At first I thought she was Asian. You know like the Chinese beer Tsing Tao but after googling her she appears to be a “Farang” (westerner). Let’s put this together. She’s late forties with two kids and broke. Luke is mid forties and broke. Broke plus Broke equals Broke (and I’m not that good with math) Two fortyish lovebirds and two kids living in the Hovel. Nope, won’t work. What Luke needs is an older women with money. A lonely old bird with blue veins and plenty of baht ($$) They can read his soft core prose together and he’ll win her heart.”<\/p>\n
