* There may be something to this. I saw an interesting quote from a psychologist who debriefed Korean war prisoners who had been subjected to brainwashing techniques. He started out thinking that those who had not succumbed would be remarkable, heroic people. In fact he found they were consistently socially awkward, distrustful and unlikable. With hindsight it makes sense, since advanced brainwashing techniques play on our deepest social instincts. Sometimes it helps to be missing a few screws.<\/p>\n

On the other hand it\u2019s easy to point to Steve, Kevin MacDonald, Jared Taylor and many others as counterexamples. But I\u2019m no sure how well any of them would hold up under the full treatment continually being dished out to Trump and Moore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
