I think it is clear to me that the only convincing way to show somebody that you love him is to sacrifice your child.<\/p>\n
You call your friend over and then you point out your child hanging on a cross and you say, "Friend, I really love you. I killed my son for you."<\/p>\n
This reflection was prompted by a goofy but typical Christian phone call to Dennis Prager’s radio show today. This Christian woman says she had watched Prager’s video about belief in God and then was thinking, how would God show us that he existed and truly loved us? And that the most obvious way was by sacrificing his son.<\/p>\n
