\n“Your clothes will be removed & fumigated. You will be held down and given a bath!,\u201d a Twitter troll tweeted at a Huffington Post journalist, complete with a picture of herself in a gas chamber.<\/p>\n

What sounds like an extreme example, is only one of the many attacks on Jews and Jewish journalsits by the \u201calt-right\u201d during the last months.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So do Jews ever tweet mean things about gentiles? Asking for a friend. Is the hate only in one direction? <\/p>\n

Through statements and policy proposals tinged with racism \u2014 such as advocating a ban on Muslims entering the
\ncountry, and saying many Mexican immigrants are drug dealers and rapists \u2014 Trump has become a favorite of white nationalist groups and provided an unprecedented platform for their views.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty substantial, what\u2019s out there,\u201d said Todd Gutnick, a spokesman for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which in June created a task force<\/a> to document attacks on journalists, and analyze the size of the \u201calt-right\u201d movement.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How many journalists have been murdered by the Alt-Right in the past year? Or are “attacks” simply mean words? So because journalists no longer have a monopoly on attacking people publicly, this is a major crisis?<\/p>\n

The ADL is planning to release a detailed report on their findings in October.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, we have collected some numbers that showcase the scope of \u201calt-right\u201d activity on social media, including Twitter trolls.<\/p>\n

250,000 anti-Semitic posts are made public across social media platforms every year<\/strong><\/p>\n

The United Nations reported <\/a> during a recent conference that deals with digital anti-Semitism.<\/pblockquote>\n

And how many anti-Gentile tweets are made each week? Or is anti-Gentilism not even a thing? Who cares about the goyim? They have it coming? <\/p>\n

63 percent of all anti-Semitic tweets are calls for violence against Jews<\/strong><\/p>\n

Israel\u2019s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said this<\/a> during the same UN conference.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So different groups have different interests and many members of groups are willing to fight for their group interest? That’s truly shocking, and exactly what Jews (and every other people) had to do to create their own country. Politics is serious because people get killed in these conflicts of interests. <\/p>\n

Stephen Pollard, the editor of the Jewish Chronicle, receives 20-30 anti-Semitic Twitter messages per day<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s after I have blocked over 300 different tweeters \u2013 a number that increases every day,\u201d he wrote<\/a> at the end of July.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, if he can’t take it, maybe he should sell insurance? <\/p>\n

The Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism (GFCA) tracked 2,000 anti-Semitic posts on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube over a period of 10 months. During that time, only 20 percent were removed by the social media sites.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The report for the Israeli Government led forum was produced by the Online Hate Prevention Institute (OHPI) in Australia and published in the report \u201cReport on Measuring the Hate The State of Antisemitism in Social Media<\/a>\u201d in February. \u201cThis demonstrates a significant gap between what the community understand to be antisemitic, [\u2026] and what social media platforms are currently willing to remove,\u201d they wrote regarding the the fact that 80 percent of all anti-semitic posts they reported remained online.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
