Most of these folks have never raised their objections to me. They’re too scared to confront the source of their anguish, so they just go around complaining to those who will listen and sympathize and reinforce their anger.<\/p>\n
I remember one rabbi who was always complaining about me. I attended a lecture of his on the importance of confronting those who you feel have done you wrong.<\/p>\n
So after the lecture, I sent him an email suggesting we do just what he’d spoken about.<\/p>\n
He replied that he had no problem with me and gave me one of those generic rabbinic blessings.<\/p>\n
Coward.<\/p>\n
Porn stars have more integrity. Many of them weren’t afraid to let me have it.<\/p>\n
If you’ve got a problem with something I’ve written, confront me about it in private in a courteous way that allows me to admit — when true — that I was wrong and let’s see what we can do about making repairs.<\/p>\n
I guarantee you’ll feel better.<\/p>\n
