Steve Sailer writes<\/a>: As far as I can tell, Michelle Obama has mostly gone through life wanting Ann Romney\u2019s life. She keeps getting annoyed by the fact that her culture wants her to take on more ambitious, more masculine roles. For example, back in school, everybody wanted her to play basketball because she\u2019s tall and broad-shouldered and her older brother was a star. But she doesn\u2019t like sports. She didn\u2019t particularly like going to Whitney Young HS, Princeton, and Harvard Law. She would have liked being a bigger fish in a smaller pond.<\/p>\n

Everybody wanted her to be a hot shot lawyer, but she didn\u2019t like law. She kind of likes political jobs where she builds networks by handing out other people\u2019s money, but when those kind of jobs are in short supply, she\u2019d rather stay home with her kids.<\/p>\n

She likes clothes, vacations, and family life. She didn\u2019t like that her bookish husband wasn\u2019t maximizing his earning potential, turning down a million dollar per year job offer to head the liberal Joyce Foundation in order to stay in the part-time state senate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
