We\u2019ll keep giving them money and arms, they\u2019ll keep oppressing the Palestinians (who, given the chance, would do much worse to the Israelis). They\u2019re not going to entirely ethnically cleanse or mass murder the Palestinians (it wouldn\u2019t play domestically or internationally), the Palestinians aren\u2019t going to start liking the Israelis enough for peace to be likely except under a strongman with effective secret police who is cowed or bought by us or Israel to avoid conflict (and Israel wouldn\u2019t want a strong state there anyway), and so things will go on as they have been for the forseeable future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comment: I don\u2019t see how Israel\u2019s main problem is more likely to be solved under a Trump than Clinton regime.
