{"id":104099,"date":"2016-08-22T17:50:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T01:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=104099"},"modified":"2016-08-22T17:50:21","modified_gmt":"2016-08-23T01:50:21","slug":"google-hides-clinton-body-count-search-suggestions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=104099","title":{"rendered":"GOOGLE HIDES \u201cCLINTON BODY COUNT\u201d SEARCH SUGGESTIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.infowars.com\/google-hides-clinton-body-count-search-suggestions\/\">NEWS<\/a>: Google has altered its search algorithm to prevent searches for \u201cClinton body count\u201d from auto-completing, despite the term auto-completing when typed in on virtually any other search engine.<br \/>\nThe \u2018Clinton body count\u2019 is an infamous list of alleged murders connected to the Clintons.<br \/>\nWhen a web user searches for \u201cclinton body\u201d on Bing or Yahoo Search, the suggested results all relate to the Clinton body count controversy.<br \/>\nHowever, search for the same term on Google and \u201cclinton body\u201d only returns suggestions related to auto-repair shops, and nothing to do with the Clinton body count.<br \/>\nGo ahead, try it for yourself.<br \/>\nWhile Google may not be outright censoring the information (people can still search for \u201cclinton body count\u201d), the fact that the term does not auto-complete clearly suggests that the company has altered its algorithm to clean up \u201cconspiracy theories\u201d about Hillary.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s interesting given New York Times columnist Farhad Manjoo\u2019s demand that Google \u201cfix\u201d its search results by censoring information about Hillary\u2019s ill health so as not to \u201cgive quarter to conspiracy theorists\u201d.<br \/>\nBack in June it was revealed by SourceFed that Google was indeed manipulating its search results to bury unflattering stories about Hillary.<br \/>\n\u201cFor example, when typing \u201cHillary Clinton cri,\u201d Google\u2019s auto-complete function brings up as its top choice \u201cHillary Clinton crime reform,\u201d even though competing search engines Bing and Yahoo show the most popular search topics are \u201cHillary Clinton criminal charges\u201d and \u201cHillary Clinton crime,\u201d reported the Washington Times.<\/p>\n<p>In August last year, Politico reported on how \u201cGoogle could rig the 2016 election\u201d by altering its search algorithms.<br \/>\n\u201cGoogle\u2019s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more\u2014up to 80 percent in some demographic groups\u2014with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated,\u201d wrote Robert Epstein, who conducted experiments to prove it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEWS: Google has altered its search algorithm to prevent searches for \u201cClinton body count\u201d from auto-completing, despite the term auto-completing when typed in on virtually any other search engine.
