The stronger your in-group identity, the more likely you are to have negative feelings about outsiders. This is all basic social identity theory. <\/p>\n<p>Tzipi Livni isn&#8217;t being investigated for war crimes because she is particularly heinous, no more than Jewish feminists keep inveighing against patriarchal Western civilization because it is particularly bad. Both sides can&#8217;t help themselves. They just keep provoking the other. For much of the world for much of history, Jews and non-Jews have been fundamentally enemies.<\/p>\n<p>It is rare that you have white identity and Jewish strength in a society growing together. Normally one gains at the expense of the other.<\/p>\n<p>Different groups have different interests. All living things are struggling for survival and to propagate their genes.
