"I have to admit you’ve changed my image of Orthodox Jews," said the little old secular Jewish lady to me after hearing one of my rants. "I have to admit I put them in a box. I stereotyped them. But you’re definitely outside the box."

When I relayed the story to a friend, she said, "You’re such a kiddish HaShem. Oy vey! I don’t know if you’re advancing the cause of Judaism or putting it back ten years."
